Reference / Artemtate
An online gallery as a walk-through exhibition.
For Artemtate, Lamptey Media developed a new website where the works of Stefan Vrakela don’t appear as a product list, but as a tour through three rooms.

01 / Starting point
Art as a catalogue.
A gallery to walk into.
The challenge
The previous site presented the art like a catalogue: a large header image, the works below it with dimensions and prices, and a filter by price range. The format, surface and impact of the works were lost, and with them exactly what you experience in front of a work in a gallery.
The solution
The result is an exhibition in three rooms. A scroll-driven 3D camera guides visitors through the hall, the faces and the series, with sequence, pauses and focal points. The works remain uncropped; edges, light and shadow reveal format and depth, on desktop just as on a smartphone.

02 / Insights
From the entrance
to the individual work.

03 / Delivery
What was
actually built.
- Curated tour: 11 works in three rooms
- Scroll-driven 3D camera through the exhibition
- A dedicated page for every work with format, material and price
- “View in a room” with a sofa for scale
- Collection with filters for available, on request and sold
- Shopping basket and wish list
- Enquiries for prices on request and private viewings
- 3D tour on desktop, tablet and smartphone
- Calm 2D version for less powerful devices and reduced motion
- No external scripts and no tracking services
04 / Result
Space, time
and impact.
Artemtate now shows its art the way you experience it in a gallery: with space, time and impact. The journey leads from the first impression to the individual work and on to an enquiry or the shopping basket.
